Wedding season is officially here and I couldn’t imagine a better way to start than with Emily and Ryan’s Grand Highlands wedding. Shooting at a venue like Bearwallow is a photographers dream. The views of the mountains are honestly some of the best I’ve seen. This venue is a hidden gem and I see it becoming widely popular in the future.
When I arrived and met Emily in person, I knew this would be a carefree wedding. Emily is as relaxed as they come – my kinda bride. I felt more like a guest as we hung out during her hair and makeup. Emily even offered up yummy custom sweets for us. I might have had 2? 😉
The wedding itself was beautifully put together by Shay Brown Events. The floral was a mixture of Fuchsia accents elegantly placed in various mercury vases and highlighted by candles galore. The colors really popped against the off-white linens.
Despite a very cold May evening (44 degrees in May?) Emily and Ryan joined my assistant and myself for a drive around the property for portraits. I loved the results – it was totally worth it.
